Mane, Sallah, Mahrez top list of 10 nominees for Africa’s best footballer award 2022
The current Africa best footballer of the year, Sadio Mane of Senegal, two former winners of the CAF award, Riyad Mahrez of Algeria and Mohammed Sallah of Egypt top the list of 10 nominees for the 2022 Africa player of the year award.
The top 10 list also include Vincent Aboubabakar of Cameroon, Kalidou Koulibaly of Senegal, Naby Keita of Guinea, Edouard Mendy of Senegal, Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, Sebastine Haller of Coted Ivoire and Toko Ekanmbi of Cameroon.
Winners of the Africa’s best player of the year and other categories will be decided through voting by CAF Technical Committee, media professionals, national teams, head coaches and captains; and would be announced on July 21 in Morocco on the sideline of the Women AFCON.
