Mechanic reportedly hospitalized after police rammed into his car thinking he’s a yahoo boy
A yet-to-identified mechanic has been hospitalized, with life-threatening injuries, after a police van r@mmed into his car in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the police officers, who reportedly thought the mechanic was a yahoo boy, intentionally r@mmed into him in a bid to stop him.
According to eyewitnesses, the officers were chasing the car when they suddenly rammed into it from the front.
The unfortunate incident which occurred on Wednesday, May 17, also left the two vehicles damaged.
“The police thought the driver was a yahoo boy but it was actually a mechanic that was taking the car for repairs. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital,” an eyewitness said.
