Media personalty Amanda Chisom reportedly arrested over N50bn Ponzi scheme
The police in Abuja have arrested social media influencer Amanda Chisom over her involvement in Chinmark, a company said to be into real estate, logistics, hospitality, and food.
It is reported that in March, many of the investors took to social media to att@ck the chief executive and chairman of Chinmark Group, Marksman Ijiomah, over alleged unpaid funds invested in the company despite many deadlines given for refund.
The investors also criticised the brand ambassadors Chisom and Harrison Gwamnishu. The company is linked to ₦50 billion Ponzi scheme. A lawyer Chukwudi Iwuchukwu posted to social media a video of Chisom arriving the office of Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja on July 19.
