Nigeria Army purportedly destroy properties in Imo community
The Nigerian Army have been alleged to have destroyed properties in a community in Imo State. The Army personnel were alleged to be burning shops, houses, and other properties of residents of Orsu, Ihiteukwa, Orsu Local Government Area, Imo State.
The Army officers were alleged to have moved round the community with ground troops and two helicopters, shooting and burning properties of residents of the community.
Residents of the community were said to be enveloped in fear, running into hiding while the casualties cannot be ascertained at the moment.
It was said that the Army is carrying out such operations in Orsu for the fourth time.
