NSCDC charges new recruits on competence, selflessness
The New recruits into the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Edo have been charged on competence and selflessness to duty.
The state Commandant of the corps, Mr Samuel Dan, stated this while addressing the new recruits at their training ground on Wednesday in Benin.
Congratulating them on their successful recruitment, Dan admonished them to always remember that the corps was a para military security agency.
He said in view of this utmost competence, discipline, selflessness and loyalty was expected of them at all times.
He urged them to remain focus, dedicated and committed to their training, so that they would complete their three months training successfully and proceed to the NSCDC training school.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the 127 new recruits were from the ranks of Corps Assistant I to Assistant Superintendent of Corps II.
