Obajana -Kabba Junction Collapsed Bridge: Motorists, commuters groan, appeal to Dangote

Motorists and Commuters plying Lokoja Obajana road have appealed to Dangote to help fix the collapsed bridge causing untold hardship in the last one week.

Recall that a Bridge along Obajana -Kabba Junction constructed by Dantata and sawoe has caved in due to over flooding of the river that passes under the bridge.

Erosion that has been encroaching bit by bit on the road construction on that part of the road finally had its way damaging it beyond expectation after a heavy downpour.

The caving in of the stretch of road now causes traffic hold up for motorists and trailers plying the road.

Despite being a- two lane road, two vehicles going on different directions or same can no longer pass, making one to wait for the other for safety sake.

A motorist observed that if urgent steps are not taken to quickly reconstruct the damaged stretch, the road may be cut off.

He therefore appealed to Aliko Dangote and authority concerned to rise to the occasion.
