Ogun 2023: Modele Sarafa joins race for APC ticket
A renowned broadcaster, Modele Sarafa Yusuf, has joined the race for the 2023 governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State. She is not only joining the race for the APC governorship ticket but also aspiring to stop Governor Dapo Abiodun from a second tenure in Ogun State.
Modele, declaring for the governorship race, interacted with market women and men in the Adire/Kampala market, Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State, robbing minds together on the basic governance expectations of the people. She threw the space wide open for suggestions on hoe to make Ogun State better.
Modele Sarafa Yusuf in series of tweets on her official twitter handle @modelesy, declared: “Dear Friends, Today, I threw my hat into the ring and formally declared my intention to run for the office of Governor of Ogun State on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.

“I made the declaration at a small gathering of market women and men in the Adire/Kampala market, Asero, Abeokuta. I took the opportunity to listen to them as they talked about their needs and their expectations of the government.”
“I implore you to send positive thoughts and prayers as we embark on this journey to a more prosperous Ogun State. By the way, we make the best Adire in Ogun State!”
