Ooni marks Olojo with new queen
Ooni of Ile-Ife Enitan Ogunwusi has embarked on a seven-day seclusion which began
Sunday,in readiness for the 2017 Olojo, and will be unveiling his new queen during the festival in Ife.
This seclusion, in the Ife tradition, is a purification ritual for him and the palace, after which he will go to Okemogun to renew his vows.

His new queen is Olori Bolanle Ogunwusi who replaces the former queen, Wuraola, that broke up with the monarch in August, after 17 months in the union.
Wuraola just got a UN award for her humanitarian efforts through an NGO she floated following her marriage to Ogunwusi.
She announced on her Instagram that she dedicated the award to all women who refused to be tamed.
