Outrage as soldiers allegedly torture young cleaner to death at Air Force Hospital
Residents are protesting the demise of a young boy who passed away after 2 soldiers allegedly tortured him in Kano State.
The deceased, Yusuf Shuaibu Adamu passed away on Friday, May 3, a day after he was attacked by two soldiers at the 465 Nigeria Air Force Hospital medical center, where he worked.
A source who spoke with newsmen said, “He was a cleaner in Airforce hospital Kano. On Thursday, after finishing his shift, a soldier gave him more work to do, which he did. But after he was done, the soldier gave him yet another work which he refused. This infuriated the soldier, who proceeded to b£at him mercilessly.”
It was gathered that after the attack around 10: 37pm on Thursday night, Yusuf started vomiting thick red blood. He later became unconscious & was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the Chief of the Air Staff has directed an investigation into his death.
