PDP alleges plans to arrest members in Cross River
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Calabar, Cross River State, alleged plans to use the security agencies to arrest and detain some key members and supporters of the party towards the 2023 general elections.
The PDP governorship candidate in Cross River State, Prof Sandy Onor, at a media briefing at the NUJ Press Centre in Calabar, said that the security agencies must not allow themselves to be used to torment innocent citizens and supporters of opposition parties. He cautioned that any attempt to do otherwise will be resisted legally.
The PDP governorship candidate further the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Cross River State to be transparent in using the BVAS, as the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) had said.
