PDP begins door-to-door campaign in Borno
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has indicated readiness to commence “house-to-house campaign” in Borno State to mobilise voters for the presidential, governorship, National Assembly and state assembly candidates for the 2023 general elections.
The PDP campaign coordinator in the state, Mustapha Shehu, at the launch of grassroots campaign in Maiduguri, said that the house-to-house mobilisation is to reach out and sell the idea of the PDP – inclusiveness, development and security – to the grassroots voters.
Shehu said that the campaign would involve about 3,000 party loyalists and volunteers, each ward producing 10 representatives from all the 27 local government areas (LGAs) and internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Borno State.
