declaring the results at the ENSIEC headquarters, Enugu, said that the elections were peaceful, free, and fair.
The chairman maintained that the LG election was conducted in accordance with the electoral acts and followed the guidelines and timetable of the commission.
Ajogwu emphasized the results for the election of councilors were announced at the wards by the Ward Returning Officer. He affirmed that the PDP won the councilors in all the 260 electoral wards.
Ajogwu indicated that PDP candidates had the highest number of votes cast in the 17 LGAs in the chairmanship election; the commission, therefore, declared them winners. The PDP, thus, cleared all the councillors and chairmanship seats in Enugu local government election.
