PDP’s Madaki wins Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency seat in Jigawa
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Alhaji Dahiru Madaki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as winner of Saturday’s election for Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency seat in Jigawa.
The INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Musa Okpanachi, declared Madaki, who polled 47,836 votes as winner at the Dutse/Kiyawa Collation Centre in Dutse on Monday.
Okpanachi said that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Kyamba scored 36,718 votes.
The returning officer also announced that Shehu Muhammad of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) scored 2,729 votes.
