Police declare APGA governorship candidate wanted over murder of Monarch in Ebonyi
Police in Ebonyi State have declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Ifeanyi Odoh, wanted over the gruesome murder of the traditional ruler of Umu-Ezekoha Community in Ezza North, Eze Christopher Igboke Ewa.
It was gathered that the monarch was shot dead by an assassin at about 8:30 p.m on Monday, February 27, in his palace.
The command’s spokesperson, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, in a statement on Monday, March 6, declared Mr Odoh and nine others wanted over the m¥rder of the monarch.
The nine others, according to the police, are Samuel Onyekachi Aligwe, Peter Orogwu (aka one boy), Chukwudi Aliewa (aka Ezza) and Chika Ezealigbo. Others are Nnaemeka Egede (aka Champaign), Nnabuike Okohu, Ogobuchi Agbom (aka Okiri), Nonso Obasi, and Ikechukwu Nwoba (aka Solid).
The police appealed for information from the public that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.
