Police parade serving, dismissed soldiers as CBN Governors’s wife abductors

A nine-man gang that kidnapped Mrs. Margeret Emefiele, the wife of the Central Bank Governor of Nigeria, has been paraded in Abuja.
Among those paraded are two serving lance corporals and one dismissed soldier of the Nigerian Army identified as Lance Corporal Musa Maidabra, 28, Lance Corporal Edwin George and Ernest Anthony Uduefe, 32, who was a dismissed soldier.
Others paraded at the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters in Abuja on Monday include, the gang leader of the notorious group, Mohammed Abubakar aka Dogo, 29, Mohammed Musa, 26, Mohammed Sule, 26, Ibrahim Abdullahi, 30, Aliyu Musa, 30, and Mohammed Yusuf 36, all male.
The wife of the Central Bank Governor of Nigeria (CBN) was kidnapped by gunmen along Benin-Agbor road in Delta state.
The heavily armed kidnappers were said to have on the 29th September, 2016 abducted Mrs Margaret Emefiele, two other women and her driver.
Following the deployment of police detectives led by CSP Abba Kyari, the abductees were set free the following day by her abductors.
