Presidency 2023: Atiku begins personal consultations, visits IBB in Minna
Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday kick-started consultations for the 2023 presidential race, visiting former Head of State, retired General Ibrahim Babangida, in Minna, Niger State.
Atiku in Minna had a closed-door meeting with IBB for about one hour, though, details of the meeting were not disclosed.
Atiku extended his visit to Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State. The former Vice President expressed sympathy with Governor Bello and the people of Niger State over the perennial insecurity troubling the state.
Atiku lamented that the insecurity situation in Niger State is worrisome.
The former Vice President disclosed that he will formerly declare for president when the time comes.
The Contact Committee of the Atiku campaign led by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, has been traversing the length and breadth of the country mobilizing support for Atiku.
