Presidency 2023: Lawan lobbies Niger APC delegates
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has taken his lobby for support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates in Niger State towards the party’s presidential primaries.
Senator Ahmad Lawan, a presidential aspirant on the APC platform, emphasized that ‘mandate is service to the people’ saying that he has served well enough in his 23 years in the National Assembly and deserves to be the president of Nigeria in 2023. The senate president said he would build on the successes of President Muhammadu Buhari whose second term ends in 2023.
The Senate President stated that security, agriculture, education and economy will be major focus of his policy thirst as Nigeria’s president.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello Niger State, hosting Lawan at the Government House, Minna, stated that no one has the record of the Senate President in terms of being a lawmaker, saying that “it’s a testament that the aspirant is a good man.”
The governor told the Senate President that ‘Niger State delegates will do what is right at the APC presidential primary election.’
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Senator Sani Musa, in the campaign team of Senate President Lawan, informed the Niger delegates that they ‘brought a good market’ to them, promising that their aspirant has the capacity and competence to lead the country, noting that they will not regret voting for him.
