Presidency 2023: Wike convenes PDP stakeholders consultative meeting in Port Harcourt
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Tuesday convened Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders consultative meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivets State. currently meeting with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State.
National Daily gathered that the meeting is currently going on at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Port Harcourt, and is being attended party executives, national and state Assembly members, LG chairmen, cabinet members, and other high-ranking members of the party, nominated to participate at the deliberations.
Details of the deliberations were not disclosed. There were indications that the meeting may not be unconnected with the political intrigues in the PDP for the 2023 presidential election, essentially, the struggle for the presidential ticket of the PDP. However, it was not certain if Governor Wike will declare for President after the meeting or he may be mobilizing support for an align in the party in the presidential race.
