President 2023: Keyamo denies derogatory statement against Peter Obi
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo SAN, has denied making derogatory statement against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi. The minister declared that while he supports Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he never undermined the political fitness of Peter Obi to govern Nigeria.
Keyamo, therefore denied report that he said Peter cannot win local government championship position in Lagos, declaring the report attributed to him as fake news.
Keyamo on his official twitter handle, Festus Keyamo, SAN, @fkeyamo wrote: “Whilst I stand resolutely with @officialABAT who is the candidate of my party, I never made this statement below anywhere. This is fake news.
