Residents attack PHCN staff in Edo
A staff of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) has been hospitalized after he was allegedly attacked by youth of Ugbiyoko community in Benin City, Edo State.
It was gathered that the young man was attacked and his two legs broken while he was trying to restore line breaker in the community on Monday, January 23, 2023.

According to report, the youth were angered by the fact that the community has been in total darkness for over a month.
A video recorded shortly after the attack reveal that two other staff of the company were also held hostage by the angry youth.
