Revealed! See what Paul Pogba told his team-mates after Man United game against Wolves
Paul Pogba has remained a subject of transfer speculations all summer especially after he opened up on his desire to seek new challenges elsewhere with clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus circling.
Pogba meanwhile has seemingly remained committed to the Red Devils throughout the current pre-season and even into the season so far.
However, the French world cup winner was a victim of the latest racial abuse after his penalty miss in the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last Monday at Molineux. Many like Maguire and even the club have since condemned the racial attack on Pogba.
National Daily meanwhile, gathered that Paul Pogba was disgruntled with his inability to utilize the opportunity to help United win all three points with the French midfielder holding up his hands to apologise to his Manchester United teammates after missing the penalty.
Pogba who has now missed four of his last nine penalties and has one of the worst spot-kick records in Premier League history of players to take at least 10 was dissatisfied especially with his latest missed effort. Many have since suggested that it could be a while before he takes another one, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer making Rashford the first-choice penalty taker after the debacle on Monday night. Meanwhile, Rashford himself has quickly come to Pogba’s defence when he faulted Pogba’s criticisms while pointing out that anybody can possibly miss a penalty kick.
Although he Solskjaer publically backed the pair of Pogba and Rashford as regards penalty kicks as he was unhappy with how the situation played out and Pogba will now only be on penalty duties if Rashford is not on the pitch.
