Sen. Aduda complains of BVAS
Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory in the National Assembly had complained of the ineffective functioning of the Bimodal Voting Accreditation System (BVAS) during the Saturday elections in the Federal Capital Territory.
Aduda, after casting his vote at polling units 004 in Karu, urged the “INEC to get its act right ahead the 2023 general elections.”
the senator observed that his accreditation and voting process was seamless; he lamented that reports reaching him from other parts of the FCT are not encouraging of the BVAS.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the chairmanship election in at least two Area Councils, which include Karu and Bwari.
