Shocking! 17 LGA caretaker chairmen dissolved in Yobe
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has announced the dissolution of the Local Government Caretaker Management Committees with immediate effect.
The dissolution follows the expiration of tenure of the Caretaker Management Committees with effect from Friday, 22nd of November, 2019.
A statement issued on Friday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ibrahim Abba Gaidam,
indicated that all the Caretaker Chairmen are to handover to their respective Directors Personnel Management.
“I am also directed to appreciate the contribution of the outgoing Local Government Caretaker Management Committees to the development of their reactive local governments,” Gaidam said.
