Yobe govt. distributes 2.3m mosquito nets
The Yobe State government has in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health, Malaria Consortium and other malaria partners, commenced the distribution of 2.3 million free Long Lasting insecticidal mosquito nets in 17 local governments of the state.
The government intervention in the distribution of the 2.3 million free long lasting insecticidal nets is to empower the people in preventing malaria outbreak in Yobe State.
Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, represented by the deputy governor at the event, commenced the development partners for their intervention in the fight against malaria infections across the state.
