Sokoto deputy Governor immunizes self against polio
The deputy Governor of Sokoto state, Mannir Dan’iya has immunized himself against polio while flagging off 2019 immunization exercise at Illela local government of the state.
According to Dan’iya, the vaccines are safe and unharmful.
He called on parents to allow their children to be immunized which he said was for their own good and that of their society.
“Don’t deny them their right to live a happy life devoid of body deformation,” a statement signed by his spokesman, Aminu Abubakar said.
The statement added that “our children are our precious assets that we can afford to lose. So take them for immunization against killer diseases as at when due.
Dan’iya further said that ” if it is harmful I won’t take it.”
