Sowore reacts to the killing of worshippers in Ondo state
Popular human rights activist and presidential hopeful contesting on the platform of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the killing of worshippers in a Catholic Church in Owo. Earlier reports had revealed how gunmen stormed St Francis church in Owo, Ondo State during a Sunday service.
The armed men reportedly fired into the congregation leaving many dead while some others were injured. It was as well reported that a priest was kidnapped. Taking to his official Facebook page to comment on the incident, the convener of the Revolution Now movement said:
‘The massacre of churchgoers in Ondo State tells of one thing, that there is a great plot somewhere.’
Both Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State and President Muhammadu Buhari have condemned this gruesome killing.
However, presidential aspirant who hails from Ondo State has alleged that this sad incident only suggests that there is a scheme somewhere.
