Task Force, tanker drivers, touts clash at Mile 2, Lagos
An unconfirmed amount of persons were killed this earlier morning due to a clash between the Lagos Task Force, tanker drivers, and touts at Mile 2, Lagos.
National Daily Newspaper correspondent received a distress call from a stranded passerby, Mr. Akintunde who explained that there was a fight on top of the Mile 2-Oshodi bridge and as a result, they had barricaded the bridge blocking the access road.
Although the actual cause of the fight is yet to be ascertained and known , as at the time of the call, Mr. Akintunde claimed that four persons were dead from gunshots at the scene.
According to him, “Mile 2 is on fire, both the task force, tanker drivers, and touts are fighting seriously, I don’t know what caused the fight but I am just hiding at Fatgbems Filling station at Mile 2 and watching.
“I am going to work but I am stranded as they barricade the whole of Mile 2 that nobody will pass”, he said.

He added that commuter plying through Mile2 axis should take better available routes to avoid the catastrophic clash between the Task force , Tanker Drivers and touts as the situation iis getting more complicated as he is stranded in the situation and all road blocked as at the time of this report National Daily Newspaper gathered.
