Teenager, 16 Years, lands in Police net for Exhuming corpse from grave for sale
A 16-year-old teenager, Lawali Abubakar, has been nabbed by the police for exhuming a corpse from the grave in Niger State.
The Niger State Police Command disclosed Lawali Abubakar on interrogation, revealed that he conspired with one Salisu, now at large, to provide body parts and cloths of a corpse exhumed from the grave at the cemetery at the cost N5,000.
Abubakar also confesses to have exhumed and removed four fingers of a corpse last year at the Bosso cemetery. He had confessed also that he was sent by one Sadiq to get the fingers and was paid N3,000, the police said.
The police have commenced investigation of the case, while on manhunt of fleeing Saliisu and Sadiq for arrest.
