Tim Sherwood: Alexis Sanchez has given up on Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez has given up on Arsenal, That is according to pundit and former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood.
The Chilean almost left the club in August for runaway league leaders Manchester City.
But despite remaining in north London, Sanchez is yet to extend his Arsenal deal, which expires at the end of the season.
And as the 28-year-old struggles for form at present, Sherwood believes he has simply given up.
“Arsene Wenger is no fool,” he said on Sky Sports show, The Debate.
“He looks after the purse strings at Arsenal.
“He looks like he might be making a decision to chuck the towel in”
“He’ll take a view whether it’s cynical on the behalf of Ozil.
“But Sanchez looks as though he’s gone the other way.
“He looks like he might be making a decision to chuck the towel in.
“He’s saying ‘Why would you want to keep me, you might as well let me go somewhere else because I don’t want to be at this football club anymore’.”
However, the former Premier League winner does admit Arsenal would be better off keeping Sanchez and fellow wantaway Mesut Ozil at the club.
