Tinubu, Adamu, others hit Lagos for APC mega rally
Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria is set to host Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC for a rally that some chieftains of the party has described as mother of all rallies this Saturday.
The rally will be a homecoming for Tinubu, the first civilian governor of Lagos in the fourth republic who has been busy selling his candidacy across the country in the past few days since he kicked off the campaign in Jos, the capital of Plateau State about three weeks ago.
Today’s APC rally in Lagos is preparatory to the kickoff of the presidential and governorship campaign in the state.
Preparations are in top gear for the rally as members and chieftains of APC, including Speaker of House of Representatives were busy ensuring that the Teslim Balogun venue of the event was ready late into early hours of today.

Meanwhile, security operatives have taken over roads leading to the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere ahead of the Lagos APC Presidential Campaign.
The campaign for Bola Tinubu is scheduled to begin by 9 am and end by 4 am.
The campaign is yet to start as of the time of filing this report but all has been put in place by organizers.
The campaign has led to massive traffic around the Surulere axis.
Managers for car parks will also smile to the bank as N1000, N2000, and N3000 were charged for packing.
Prominent members of APC have also arrived at the event.
Femi Gbajabiamila, James Faleke, Saheed Balogun, Bimbo Akintola, Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon, and many others have arrived.
