Tinubu belittles Labour Party
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general elections, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in Osun State, belittled Labour Party (LP), which 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been de eloping rising profile and massive supporters. Tinubu at the mega campaign rally for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State in Osogbo, speaking in Yoruba language, dismissed the Labour Party as a mushroom group, declaring: “PDP and mushroom parties, like Labour Party. They say they are labour, they will labour till death.
“God will not let you become labourers. “You will meet good fortune at home. The good fortune of money, children. You are next.”
He urged people to vote enmass for Oyetola at the Saturday governorship election in Osun State.
Other APC stakeholders at the mega rally include the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; chairman of the APC campaign council in Osun, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, among others.
Others include APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and the Vice Presidential candidate, Kassim Shettima.
