Tinubu receives EFCC Acting Chairman at State House
President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, received the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulkarim Chukkol, at the State House, Abuja.
The President went into a closed door meeting with Chukkol.
Chukkol was appointed acting Chairman of the EFCC after President Tinubu ordered indefinite suspension of Abdulrasheed Bawa on June 14, 2023 “to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office”.
Chukkol was the Director of Operations at the Commission before his appointment as acting EFCC chairman.
