Update Anambra 2021: INEC resumes collation of results as Soludo maintains lead
The State Election Collation Centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed siting in Awka, Anambra State, for continuation of the collation of results of the Saturday governorship election in the state. The Centre will continue with the presentation and adoption of election results of the governorship election contested by 18 candidates from the 21 local government areas in Anambra State.
The INEC Commissioner had on Saturday night, postponed the collation of result to 10.00am on Sunday which was later extended to 11.00am.
Meanwhile, the APGA candidate, Prof. Charles Soludo, maintains his early lead from the results announced before the postponement of the process.
