What Shehu Sani, Deji Adeyanju and Reno Omokri said about the killing of Deborah
After the news of a mob who killed a female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Wamako, Sokoto State over the alleged blasphemy of prophet Muhammad broke out, it stirred reactions among the people who have different views and suggestions.
Among those who took time to react to the killing was Shehu Sani, a Kaduna State governorship aspirant, Mr. Deji Adeyanju, an activist, and Pastor Reno Omokri.
In Shehu Sani’s view, he totally condemned the killing as he used many words to describe the act. He suggested that Sokoto Security should do everything possible to investigate the allegation leveled against Deborah.
In Deji Adeyanju’s view, what Deborah said was never a blasphemy as he claimed Deborah only said, “stop posting religious contents in our class WhatsApp group which is meant for educational things”.
Pastor Reno Omokri, in his reaction, wants people to take their focus off Muslims or northerners but pour their blames on perpetrators.
