PDP chieftain and former Senator, Dino Melaye has taken a swipe at the government of President Muhammadu Buhari over the numerous cases of unresolved insecurity and economic downturns recently experienced by Nigerians across the country.

Melaye took to his Twitter profile where he shared a post querying why the ministers, heads of MDAs, DGs, Presidential aides, and service chiefs are still keeping their jobs irrespective of what’s currently playing out in the country.

According to Melaye, he noted that about 19 ministers and 48 staff/appointees had resigned from the services of the British Government in 48 hours.

The former senator also lamented that the country is at its lowest low in history.

According to the Minister of Defence, it was confirmed that all the Boko Haram inmates in the facility had escaped.

Later on, the Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP published a video claiming responsibility for the attack.

President Buhari had visited the scene of the attack where he queried the nation’s intelligence reporting system. He also expressed shock at the incident.

However, Dino feels by now, some of the responsible officers and heads of agencies indicted in the attack should have resigned from their positions as it occurred in the UK

According to a report by Sky News, the total number of members of parliament, and ministers who have quit UK prime minister Boris Johnson’s government stands at 54.
