2 delegates vote for Shehu Sani in Kaduna PDP guber primary Ashiru wins; senator reacts
Former Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central during the 8th National Assembly when he was in the APC, has flunked the 2023 guber primary in his new party PDP.
The PDP primary election was conducted on Wednesday across the country.
In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, the former aspirant congratulated the winner, Isah Ashiru, a former House of Representatives member.
“The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries has been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won,” he tweeted
“I wish to congratulate him. Two delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I don’t know who they are, so that I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward”.
This is the third time Sani will fail to realize his guber ambition after he won his first and only senatorial ticket in the APC in 2015.
He has shopped around so far for parties after dumping the APC. He was in the PRP before cross-carpeting to the PDP.
