Army sacks kidnapper’s den, kills three
It was a case of pay back time as troops of the 33 Brigade, Nigerian Army, during an encounter with notorious armed kidnappers, killed three of them and destroyed their camps.
It was learnt that the troops, based on incessant reported cases of armed robberies and kidnappings in some parts of Bauchi State, embarked on patrols to clear the state of such criminal elements.

They raided Dutsen Mairama and around Dogon Ruwa settlement within Lame/Burra forest of Toro and Ningi Local Government Areas of the State.
In the process, they recovered arms and ammunitions including expended Shells.
Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations said in Abuja that troops would continue to carry out such clearance operations in all known hideouts of kidnappers and armed bandits within Bauchi and other States to deny criminal elements freedom of action.
