2019: Buhari thanks supporters

President Muhammadu Buhari, winner of the 2019 presidential election on the platform of the ruling All progressives congress (APC) at a victory dinner in Abuja thanked party supporters and all those who voted for him in the election for their believing in him. The president reiterated his assurance to implement better policies to make the country work in his second term.
President Buhari represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at a Dinner held to appreciate those who contributed to the success of their second term bid, affirmed that his administration will focus more on connecting with Nigerians and ensuring they run their policies by the people through the appropriate medium.
The Dinner was organised by the presidency to thank those who worked assiduously through the electioneering campaign and electoral processes to ensure victory for the president and the vice president.

The vice president stated that in spite of all the administration has achieved in the last four years, Nigerians complained that they were not carried along, adding that the administration will try to improve on that relationship.
A minute’s silence was held for all those who lost their lives during the elections.
Buhari and the APC were declared winner of the presidential election by the INEC in the result has remained controversial and unacceptable to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The election result is till being challenged at the Presidential Election Petition Ytribunal by the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
