2020 NASCO Polo tournament begins in Jos, records 24 goals

Four teams were on ground on Saturday for the first game in the opening ceremony of the 2020 annual Jos International Polo tournament at the popular Jos Polo field.
The teams after their first games recorded 24 goals, with the NASCO team getting off to a flying start beating Jos Elzira 14 to 1 goal.
Also, Babale Ranch, playing their opening game with Jos Green Cube, scored 6 against Cube, while Green Cube replying with 3 goals.
The tournament which is expected to climax with the grand finale on 2nd January 2021, will feature more teams vying for honours, according to NASCO Spokesman and Compliance Advisor, Mr. Haroun Audu.
NASCO has been at the forefront of supporting Polo; widely revered as the NASCO-Polo, and prompting the Jos International Polo Tournament, which has hosted reputable personalities.
Our correspondent reports that this year’s Polo aims to encourage the participation of young and indigenous talented players while featuring top-class action from some of the most experienced and acclaimed polo players in and out of the country.
