Studies have shown that, taking more than two or three bottles of alcoholic beverages may put a person at risk of kidney damage after sometime. 3. Antibiotics – are supposed to be medications that help the body combat ailments but since they pass through the kidneys before being ingested or assimilated by the body, there is need for one to be careful with how he or she takes antibiotics. Taking excess antibiotics can cause kidney damage and the only way to avert this from happening is by not taking any medication without doctor’s prescription and go-ahead.
