Chicken is highly packed with nutrients like proteins, amino acids, calcium, vitamin B3, magnesium, vitamins B6 and many other important nutrients. However, not all types of chicken is healthy, especially broiler chicken.
Some broilers are fed with foods that contain antibiotics and some harmful chemicals. These chemicals help them to grow faster within 40 days. Eating broiler chicken religiously can have very dangerous effects on your health.
Here are 3 important reasons why you should not eat broiler chicken.
1. They contain unhealthy fats.
Broiler chicken contains unhealthy fats which are not good for a person who wants to stay healthy and fit. Regular consumption of broiler chicken, especially when grilled at high temperature can cause diseases like obesity, heart problems, high blood pressure (hypertension) and many other dangerous diseases. So, it is advisable to reduce your consumption of broiler chicken and go for natural and well bred chickens.
2. They contain some harmful chemicals contents
Broilers are injected with some harmful chemicals, antibiotics and some growth hormones to enable them grow faster than normal. This is why many broiler chickens are bigger and more fleshy than others. Eating broiler chicken meat may have a dangerous effect on your health because of the presence of these harmful chemicals. These chemicals can cause more harm than good to your body.
3. They contain a high amount of antibiotics
During the course of breeding broiler chicken, some antibiotics are being injected in them so that they can be prevented from contacting some certain diseases and so that they can also grow rapidly. A recent study shows that eating broiler chicken three times in a week is equal to taking three antibiotic injections.
