38-year-old Iran-bound drug mule arrested, excretes 76 pellets of cocaine
Nigerian drug trafficker, Okafor Ifeanyi Anthony, has excreted 76 pellets of cocaine weighing 1.267 kilogrammes after his arrest by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) Kano.
Okafor, a 38-year-old drug mule was apprehended on Sunday, 15th September 2024, while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight en route to Iran via Doha.
The NDLEA, acting on intelligence, intercepted Okafor during routine checks, suspecting he had ingested illegal substances.

In a statement issued on Sunday, NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi disclosed that Okafor had swallowed 76 wraps of cocaine before his departure.
Upon his arrest, the suspect was placed under excretion observation. After three days in custody, Okafor excreted all 76 pellets of the ingested cocaine, with a total weight of 1.267 kilogrammes.
