Justice Bulkachuwa quits Appeal Court President
The President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, has commenced the process of her retirement from the judiciary. She has been a subject of controversies in the Nigerian judiciary.
Meanwhile, Eminent justices of the Court of Appeal, High Court of Lagos State, senior lawyers, traditional rulers on Wednesday at the Court of Appeal complex, Lagos Division, Igbosere Road held valedictory session in honour of retiring President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Bulkachuwa.

Hon Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa will retire from the Bench on March 6, 2020 having attained the statutory mandatory retirement age of 70 years.
The retirement process is expected to be held in other states of the Federation, then, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
One of the indelible controversies the retiring Appeal Court President will live with is the 2019 presidential election panel where she was forced to step down since her husband is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
