Buhari regrets death of Abba Kyari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday expressed regret over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari. The President’s Chief of Staff died on Friday while being treated of coronavirus infection.
President Buhari in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in the early hours of Saturday declared: “the Presidency regrets to announce the passage of Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.
The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17.
“May God accept his soul.
“Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. “
