Women Affairs minister tests positive for covid-19
Minister of Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen has announced her covi-19 status after a test: positive. And she has since gone into isolation, though she’s asymptomatic, according to an official statement she issued.
“Please keep me in your prayers. I implore you all to stay safe and observe all COVID-19 protocols as we grapple with this pandemic,” sh wrote in the statemt.
I urge you all to please take responsibility for yourself and your family in order to protect our dear country even more at this time.”
The minister ha joined 83, 576 Nigerians that have tested positive so far.
Nigeria Centre For Disease Control recorded 829 new infections of COVID-19 outbreak in the country on Saturday.
No fewer than 70,495 discharged cases and 1,247 deaths have been recorded so far.
