UPDATE: Undercover agents kill ESN members enforcing sit-at-home order

Amidst the confusion that greeted IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s brother’s order calling off the sit-at-home order the separatist group earlier issued on Monday, some zealots in the group have lost their lives while enforcing the order.

The police has yet to get a clear picture of the incident.

Eye witnesses, however, confirmed there was a bloody confrontation between the IPO outlaws ad some soldiers

The soldiers were unidentified, though.

It happened at Izuchukwu, Nnewi, in Anambra, where two IPOB militant set up a roadblock which some men suspected to be soldiers came to clear off.

A confrontation followed between the IPOB militants and the armed soldiers.

They shot dead the IPOB members later.

IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful raised the alarm days ago that security agents now go about unidentified, killing IPOB members.

A joint team of security agents came to dispersed protesters who gathered in the wake of the fatal shooting by the unidentified soldiers.

Police authority confirmed the incident.

‘We are still investigating,” said PPRO Tochukwu Ikenga.
