Most indecent assault in Osun lands 28-year-old in court
Nifemi Ajayi was quarrelling with her neighbor, and she made straight for his genitals, chewing up his organs and belly when things got physical.
According to the prosecutor Osanyintuyi, the incident happened on Aug 24, 2021, around 8:00 pm at No 21, Oke-Soda, Ile-Ife.
“Nifemi bit one Olayera Boluwaji on his scrotum and left side stomach, which caused him bodily harm,” he told the court.
He further prayed the court to punish the offender saying, “the offence committed is contrary to and punishable under section 355 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun, 2002.”
The 28-year-old defendant however pleaded not guilty to the offence.
Her counsel, Mr Philip Fasanmoye, made an oral bail application for the defendant on the most liberal term.
The presiding magistrate, Olusola Aluko, thereafter ordered that she should be remanded in Ile-Ife Correctional Centre.
She adjourned the case till November, 15 for consideration.
