More areas in Kaduna to undergo total blackout on telecom services
More telecom services are expected to be shut down by the Kaduna state government as a part of measure to curb insecurity in the state.
It would be recalled that as part of the steps to address the current security situation in Kaduna state and neighbouring states in the north-west and north-central regions, the Kaduna state government last month revealed that the processes for the shutdown of telecommunication services in parts of the state have commenced as well as the ban on the use of motorcycles for commercial and personal purposes.
Samuel Aruwan, the commissioner for internal security and home affairs, who made this known during a press briefing, said the measures will assist the security agencies to carry out their operations in parts of the state.
