What makes serial hospital robber Kalu person of interest in Lagos
The first time Nnanna Kalu was detected robbing the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos, it wasn’t by police.
A CCTV did it.
Ditto for the second time.
But beyond the effort of the Big Brother, Kalu, 30, presents compulsive traits that make him a person of interest, and, eventually, a jailbird.
He likes robbing hospital, pretending he’s a patient.
He was captured by the CCTV camera while stealing a worker’s laptop at the hospital a few weeks ago. He had a on his back a designer T-shirt and some trousers.
He slipped off—unscathed.
And on Monday, he went back to the same hospital, like a patient, in the same wears.
He was unlucky this time.
Kalu confessed that he robbed hospitals in Lagos for a living. He once robbed Randle General Hospital in Surulere,
The RRS called to arrest him the second time arraigned him before a mobile court same day.
He got 15-month imprisonment.
