Why US delays return of late Dangote’s remains
The return of the remains of late Sani Dangote from the US has been delayed, causing the burial to be shifted to a later date.
This is due to paper works required to move a corpse from one country to another.
Sani, a younger brother of billionaire Aliko Dangote, died while sick in a US hospital at age 61.
Family sources however stated the process is underway and the body will arrive Nigeria Wednesday—instead of Tuesday.
According to the Daily Trust, the corpse left USA at 4pm Nigerian time and will arrive on Wednesday.
